Student News
Attention Seniors: All materials checked out from the library are due by Friday, May 18.  Underclassmen: All materials due by May 31. 

Would you like to park in Mrs. Price's parking space for a week?, win a basket of girl scout cookies?, or a basket of gift cards worth $50?, or a 2018-2019 athletic pass?, or a 2018 MHS yearbook?  How about a free chance to win any of those?  To get that free chance, all you have to do is wear red tomorrow, May 11th, and then stop by the Interact Club table in the lunchroom to get your raffle ticket.  Let's turn Millbrook RED!!!  

Dowell J. Howard Center is currently scheduling Behind-the-Wheel classes for May 16-24 and May 30-June 7, 2018.  THE FEE IS NOW $180.  All information is available on the Dowell J. Howard's webpage. 

Counseling News
If you are interested in law enforcement the Frederick County Sheriff's Office Explorers Post 152 is a program for the youth ages 12-20 that provides insight of the purpose, mission, and objectives of law enforcement agencies. They will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6-8 pm. For more information please see Guidance. 

Club News
There will be a Leo Club meeting today at 2:40 PM to plan our St. Baldrick's fundraiser. 

The association of Korean appreciation will be having its next meeting Wednesday May 16th at 2:30 in room 512. The meeting will last until 3:30 so please have rides here promptly at 3:30. 

SCA officer application for the 2018-19 school year are available in the main office. They must be turned into Ms. Beasley or Ms. Keeler on or before Thursday May 17th. 

Sport News
Congratulations to Hope Hawthorne for setting the School Record in the shot put in yesterday's track and field meet at James Wood High School.  Hope won the event with her throw of 32-10, breaking a school record that had stood since 2007!  Congratulations also to Ambriah Hijazi for setting the Sophomore Class Record in the 400m dash with her time of 1:03.84.

Come out and support your Millbrook Pioneers as they host James Wood this evening.
Varsity Softball begins at 4PM; Varsity Baseball begins at 7PM
Boys JV and Varsity Soccer will begin at 5:30 and 7PM

Girls JV and Varsity Soccer will travel to James Wood; games begin at 5:30 and 7PM
JV Softball and Baseball will also travel to James Wood; games begin at 6PM
